Yesterday while watching sunset in Pacifica and having an “emergency” Oksana yoga session at the same time, we saw the biggest whale on the planet!

It was as big as a ship and showed us its round nose, giant grey color body and unpronounced fin. It looked so big, it was hard to believe it was real.

Later we researched and found that it was a sperm whale as it matched the picture of it in the Wikipedia:

Some interesting facts about the Sperm Whale (aka cachalot):

* biggest toothed animal on this planet
* deepest diver as it can dive up to 1.9 miles (3 kilometers) deep and spend up to 90 minutes under water in one breath
* biggest brain up to 8 kilograms or 16 pounds
* uses highly sophisticated sonar way of communicating, which makes submarine technology look like toys

Oksana was communicating with the whale….Indescribable!
At least two other people witnessed this.. Ask Lili.
